About
Dr Alexandra Barnett
After starting my career in Forensic Psychology, I decided to switch to Counselling Psychology and completed my Doctorate in 2011.
Since finishing my Doctorate I have worked in a range of different settings, with different individuals all over the world! I have worked in the NHS and private health care services in the UK and the prison service and a Maori Mental health Service in New Zealand.
Throughout my work I have worked with individuals expereinceing a range of mental health and emotional difficulties, from anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, obsessive compulsive disorder, trauma and phobias to name a few.
I started my private practice in 2019 and now offer online sessions, a variety of different online courses and email therapy.
